One World Trade Center, NY

Rising from the tragedy of 9/11 is the One World Trade Center Tower.

Otherwise known as the Freedom Tower, this is the first of a series of proposed skyscrapers to be rebuilt on the site of the original world trade center towers. Standing as a shining beacon of resilience and progress in Lower Manhattan, New York, this artistically dynamic building stands at 541 metres tall, with 104 floors and is the tallest building in the United States and the Western Hemisphere.

A variety of steel stud wall systems from Studco® were used in the construction and fitout of this iconic project. The quality, strength and environmental credentials of Studco’s building systems make it the ideal match for this high-profile project where life-safety and sustainability are two of the foundation design principles.
