What is Prime Galvanized Steel?
Studco uses only prime galvanized steel coil to produce our drywall and structural stud and track products. Galvanized steel is superior to cold reduced steel, due to its corrosion resistance and strength. When you order steel from Studco you can have peace of mind that you will receive high quality, prime hot-dip galvanized steel with corrosion protection.
What is Equivalent (EQ) Stud and Track?
The term Equivalent “EQ” was developed for the standardization of cold-formed steel stud and track members, and is accepted to mean equivalency in performance. The EQ system allows you to find suitable framing products, regardless of their profile and properties, as they meet the same standards and are formed using the same production process.
